There comes a point when you have to stop explaining what God is doing in your life.
Stop trying to prove that you have changed.
Stop trying to prove that you have grown.
Stop trying to prove that you are healed.
Stop trying to prove that God called you.
Stop trying to prove that you are walking in what He told you to do.
Sometimes we spend so much energy trying to make people understand what God is doing in us that we begin performing the evidence instead of simply living it.
But Jesus said:
“Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.”
—Matthew 7:20 KJV
Fruit doesn’t have to announce itself.
An apple tree doesn’t stand in the yard yelling, “Look at me! I’m an apple tree!” 😂
It simply produces.
And eventually, what is growing becomes visible.
Maybe that’s the freedom some of us need today.
You don’t have to convince everybody that you’re different.
You don’t have to defend every decision God told you to make.
You don’t have to keep presenting evidence to people who have already decided what they want to believe about you.
Live it.
Let your character speak.
Let your consistency speak.
Let your obedience speak.
Let the fruit speak.
Because when God has truly done a work in you, eventually there will be evidence that doesn’t require an announcement.
Provoking Thought:
Stop trying to prove what your life has been given permission to reveal.
Some things don’t need an explanation.
They need time to bear fruit.
